On Problems and Goals of Knowledge Management

Abstract


The contribution presents a brief outline of possible approaches to the concept "knowledge". The main emphasis is given on the relevance of the selected and applied knowledge with regards to the given task or problem-solving situation and to the competence of the subjects of knowledge, especially concerning the selection and integration of knowledge. It includes not only the integration of various spheres of knowledge, but also the integration of knowledge and values.
